ARAGO : Place italie, Paris, 1 bedroom flat, balcony
Located on the Arago Boulevard, just opposite a lovely little square, you will be only 5 minutes away from Denfert Rochereau Place and the Daguerre Market. Twice a week you will have a chance to try the Port Royal open air market.
In less than 15 minutes you will reach Monge Street, Mouffetard Street and the Latin Quarter. You will also easily reach Port Royal and Luxembourg Garden by foot.
The closest metro station are Denfert Rochereau, Glacière, Les Gobelins and Port Royal.
This apartment is located on the 4th floor of a good standard building with a lift. The windows of the bedroom overlook the garden of a convent while the living-room and its 10sqm balcony give on Arago Boulevard, a road lined with trees. Note that you will have the feeling to be surrounded by nature as you will not see the street, only the top of the trees.
This 45sqm apartment has two rooms. The entrance gives on the corridor leading to the bedroom. The bedroom features a double bed (140x200), a coffee table, a furniture to store your clothes and two armchairs. It is bright and extremely quiet as the windows overlook a convent and its garden planted with trees.
On the other side of the corridor you will find the main room. It has been divided in several areas : the dining area with a dining table where three people can sit and the living area with a couch, a coffee table and another couch that can be used as a bed for one person (90x200).
The living-room gives on a 10sqm balcony overlooking Arago Boulevard. Thanks to all the trees you will not see the street but only the top of the trees !
The fitted kitchen is small but functional. It gives on the main room.
The bathroom has a bathtub. It gives on the corridor. The toilets are in a separate room, next to the bedroom.
This apartment can sleep up to three guests but it will be perfect for a couple or a single person, visiting Paris for a week or for a month.
Betwen the two worlds wars, it was the emblematic 'gay paree' district or after-dark merriment and fruitful artistic exchange - and it was also remarkably cosmopolitan. To be seen the Tour Montparanasse for the marvelous view you have from there. Do not miss also the Fondation Cartier.
This place was great. Exactly as described. Our host met us at the apt. and showed us around and explained how everything works. We had a few issues early on (which we our fault--not the hosts) but the host came and resolved those issues pretty quickly.

My wife and I stayed at ARAGO in June. The apartment is spacious and comfortable but some minor improvements are needed. These are: a new continental quilt, new cord on iron and chipped and damaged crockery and cutlery replaced. It would help clients if there were details and recommendations for local restaurants and shops. Luckily we found the L'HYDROPHOBE restaurant for a wonderful meal.

I stayed here on business for a week in October 2013 and it was lovely - very quiet, convenient to the Metro and shops (2 or three blocks in either direction). The service from ParisAddress was excellent (as always, in my experience).

This apartment was excellent for my husband and I and our toddler (14 months old) for our one week trip to Paris. It was easily accessed by metro and bus, a short walk to groceries and bakeries, and there was even a small park across the street for our daughter to run around. The neighborhood is quiet and not very touristy. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped with pots and pans and dishes.
We would highly recommend this apartment if close proximity to the main sites in Paris is not a priority. We were still able to visit monuments and friends all over town with less than 30 minute travel times using public transportation (even dragging a stroller and diaper bag). We thought this apartment gave good value for the price. The Paris Address contact who set us up in the apartment was courteous, prompt, and made sure everything worked before he left. We would happily stay here again!

Me and my husband stayed a week in "Arago". We were in contact with Eric from we landed in the airport until we were installed in the apartment. It felt good and he even helped us with WiFi.
The flat was cosy, clean and well equipped. The neighborhood was quiet with good shopping facilities.
