The Maison de Balzac is located in the heart of the old Passy village, in Raynouard Street. It is the only Parisian residence of the novelist that remains today. Honoré de Balzac moved in this house to evade his creditors in 1480. It was in this house that he wrote 'La Comédie Humaine'. The house is now a museum with originals manuscripts and edition, personal memories of the author, paintings. It organizes exhibitions and readings about Honoré de Balzac.
