Location

With one foot in Bastille and the other one in the Marais, the location of this Paris rental apartment is exceptional : What about a ballet or the opera? The Bastille Opera is just 10 minutes walking distance. There is quietness and green ambience at the garden and the Basins of the Arsenal. Or even what about a stroll in the genuine Paris, with the small streets and facades of the Marais or the Place des Vosges which will take you to a unique universe. Saint Louis Island is accessible by foot. The neighbourhood is truly Parisian : residential, quiet and enlivened, with the streets safe by day and by night. The Rue Saint Antoine and its shops (bakeries, fruit and vegetables, take away food shops…) provides you with your very own daily market so close to your Paris flat. You can experience Paris night life on the Rue de Lappe and Rue de la Roquette’s bars, lounges and clubs. The Rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine will enable you to fulfill all your shopping wishes. Standing

In a high standing Haussmannian building with a lift, secured by a code and then an intercom, the Paris apartment is on the 3rd floor. It is very bright and has a double exposure.. The living room and one of the bedrooms (with double glazed windows) looks onto the street but no noise will reach you as it is a very quiet street. The other bedroom gives onto the courtyard. The Paris rental apartment was entirely refurbished at the beginning of 2010.

Layout

This 100sqm apartment to rent in Paris has been entirely rethought to offer an upscale fitting. It has three rooms and beds for six people. The bedrooms are lovely and quiet. One looks onto the street and has two single beds (90x200) that can be put together to form a large double bed (180x200). Like all the windows of this flat, there is double glazing. A large wardrobe will enable you to store all your clothes and luggage. The other bedroom is located just in front of this one. It has a double bed (160X200) and a dressing room as well as many closets (so many, you will be amazed!) and a desk. You will appreciate the en suite bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. This is also where you will find the washer dryer. This bedroom gives onto the courtyard. The long corridor leading to the bedrooms also leads to a second lavatory and to a second bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower. The main room is divided in two areas : the dining area with a large dining table that can accomodate up to eight guests, and the living area with a comfortable sofabed (140x200), chairs, a coffee table and a flat screen TV. This room, like the whole Paris apartment, is really bright and you will love spending time here, surrounded by design furnitures. The fitted kitchen is modern and bright, perfect if you love to cook. It is right next to the entrance door, in front of the dining room, which is perfect if you have guests over for a meal. Every square centimetre has been cleverly used and everything is 'tailor made' to give guests a maximum of comfort. You will find ingenious storage spaces everywhere! Should you need an apartment for a week or for two months or should you arrive with a single purse or with a car full of bags, this unique short term apartment in Paris is the place to rent. The high ceilings, the wooden floor, the moldings, the chimneys and the large mirrors are typical of old Parisian apartments. The whole renovation consisted of combining the ancient French flavour with modern design and contemporary furniture. A winning bet in this case! The Coeur 3 apartment was well appointed and looked exactly like the photos on the website. The location in the Marais is wonderful. The flat is however very noisy. One of the bedrooms and the living/dining room overlook a noisy street and we all had to sleep with earplugs. The fact that frequent general strikes were taking place at the Place de la Bastille, just 2 minutes away, did not help and this caused more noise. There is a very gifted young pianist living one floor above the apartment and he practiced many hours per week which was quite stressful after a while.

We found the Coeur 3 apartment to be well presented and furnished - exactly as described on the website. Kitchen is well equipped, all appliances were in good working order. Location of the property is good with excellent access to metro and walking distance from Marais. We did not find the flat noisy apart from occasional enthusiastic piano practice one floor above. I must say piano playing was restricted to social hours only. Parisaddress agency was very helpful and did all to help us settle but not interfere with our stay. So overall, we are very pleased both with the property and the agency.
