Location
Rent this charming rental apartment in Paris that is located in a very quiet street close to the Place des Ternes, a few steps away from the Arc de Triomphe, the Parc Monceau, the Avenue des Champs Elysées, the Rue du Faubourg St Honore and the Russian Cathedral of Paris. The area thrives with select restaurants, stores and shops of all kind, from upmarket antiques to electronics (Fnac, Darty, Sony…) to clothes (Gap, DPAM, Lacoste…), shoes (Weston, Church etc), food (patisseries, Paul, Hediard, Allosse –allegedly the best cheese monger in Paris) and supermarkets. Music halls (salle Pleyel, salle Wagram…) and theatres are also close by. Everything is available within a few 100 metres. Overall, it is a quiet, peaceful haven in a lively area, one of the best and safest locations in Paris. The Paris rental flat is extremely well located for metro, trains, buses with direct lines to all train stations, tourist spots and business districts.
Standing
This pure Art Deco (1925) building has kept its original charm, yet is adequately equipped with all modern amenities and security (elevators, a full time house keeper, a security code plus an intercom...) It was the home of Capitaine Dreyfus from 1928 to 1935. It is located minutes away from the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, and the Parc Monceau. The flat is located on the 4th floor (with an elevator). It was tastefully refurbished mid 2007, and now combines art deco style and modern comfort. It has French classic wooden floors throughout all rooms (oak in all rooms; bamboo in the bathrooms). The kitchen floor of the Paris rental apartment is tiled.
Lay out
As one of the largest Paris apartments to rent, the entrance hall is 17 sq m and links the double living room to the dining room, creating a particularly light and pleasant reception area that spans more than 15 metres and with ample through light. The 40 sq m double living room has two windows (each with a balcony) facing the quiet Rue des Renaudes. It is furnished with a double leather sofa (easily converting to a comfortable queen size bed to be used in the library), a coffee table, several armchairs, a 50 inch flat TV plasma screen, a DVD player, a Sony home cinema system, an additional hi-fi system, a comprehensive bookcase with more than 700 DVDs and 1000 books (French, English, German…). The 23 sq m dining room has a window (with balcony) facing South West into the courtyard and is furnished with a dining table fitting 8 people easily, 2 chests of drawers and a side table. The 10 sq m kitchen is adjacent to the dining room (with a service hatch) and faces towards the courtyard. It is comprehensively equipped with all modern appliances: 3 ovens (microwave, standard and steam) a vitro ceramic hob, an extractor hood, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a washer-dryer, a coffee machine, a toaster, a food processor etc . Full built-in red gloss lacquer cupboards match the white tiles and Corian worktops. The master bedroom of the rental apartment in Paris is 30 sq m, has 4 windows letting the morning sun in and has an en-suite bathroom. It is furnished with a queen size bed, 2 side tables, a Chinese desk and armchair, a chest of drawers, a DVD player and a 37 inch flat plasma TV screen and a sofa. The en-suite bathroom is 10 sq m and is equipped with a bathtub (with shower head), a separate shower, a loo, a bidet, a basin with a teakwood worktop and a mirrored cabinet. A corridor with ample storage closets leads to the second bathroom and the two further bedrooms in the Paris apartment. The second bathroom (6 sq m) is equipped with a 1.3 m walk in shower, a double basin with a bamboo worktop and a mirrored cabinet, and a loo. The 2nd bedroom of the Paris apartment is 18 sq m, with a window (with balcony) facing the courtyard. It is furnished with a queen size bed, a side table, a desk, an armchair, built-in shelves, a chest of drawers, a DVD player and a 37 inch flat plasma TV screen. 'We stayed at Renaud3 for 5 nights in August 2010. It was a wonderful apartment with everything available. The owner had left a list of helpful information for us and we felt really welcomed. A very light apartment and well appointed. Close to everything. We found the buses great and easy to get around the city, though we did a lot of walking too. I will be recommending the apartment and booking through parisaddress to anyone who is visiting Paris. A really fantastic time. Thank you again.
