Location
By renting an apartment in Paris on this discreet and self-contained island you will have an enchanting stay in the city. It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17Ith century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays, where you can join the locals in sitting along watching the world go by, or even bring a picnic. Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. There is a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries, delicate chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé. Sharing the island with its 3000 inhabitants you will feel like a local.
Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby. The Pompidou Centre , the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, Champs Elysées, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.
The nearest metro stops to this Paris apartment are Cité, St Michel Notre Dame, Pont Marie and Sully-Morland. RERB will take you directly to and from CDG and ORLY airports. Using the city bike scheme, Velib, or the Batobus are other unique, relaxing modes of transport.
Standing
Very good standing building, typical of the Saint Louis island, with its French wooden and iron stairs. The Paris rental apartment is on the third floor without an elevator. It is above Monsieur Le Franc's cremerie and Madame Martin's boulangerie. There are three South facing windows allowing in plenty of light and provide a wonderful view along the Rue St Louis en L'Ile. The beautiful Barosque church can be seen just on the left hand side.
Layout
Lovely Paris studio of 30 m2, recently renovated. It is beautifully but simply decorated and is furnished to highlight its traditional features, giving it style and character. It consists of a large living room and a smart, well equipped, open kitchen, with breakfast counter and stools.. A very high quality sofabed is just as comfortable as a double bed. The modern bathroom has an excellent shower along with the toilet and the washer/dryer. If you want to work/study or simply check your emails there is a stylish console desk against the wall. If you want to simply drop after a day sight seeing you can fall into the stylish FatBoy (a huge beanbag!). With its standard of accommodation and fabulous location, this apartment to rent in Paris provides great value for money and will charm you in every possible way.

Very nice and compact apartment, right in the centre of the middle of the heart of Paris. It's literally close to everything, but the location retains its slightly insular and village-like charm. The apartment has everything it needs, though cooking may prove to be a bit of a challenge, because not all of the pans work with the induction cooker ;) Good service by the Parisaddress people, no complaints whatsoever.Read this comment on Typepad

We realy enjoyed staying in this apartment - just the best what two young people would wish to have. There is all one may need inside and outside the apartment. There is a smell of history everywhere. This place is 2 min walk from where Esmeralda used to dance... St.Louis en Ile is like a smooth water in the ocean of Paris - quite and peaceful. Special Thanks to Fabien - a very pleasant young man, who welcomed us and helped to accomodate smoothly enough.Read this comment on Typepad

really enjoyed my days here! above a cheese shop and a pastry shop, across the street from Bertillon ice cream. it is very sunny and good sized for a studio, and you can hear the church bell from the old church down the street. owner is very accommodating. carrellRead this comment on Typepad

Basic but very serviceable apartment with a perfect location. Far better value than a hotel room. Lovely view of Saint-Louis en l'Ile church out the window. Great location,walk everywhere. 3 min to Notre Dame,10 min to Le Marais/Hotel de Ville/Bastille on the right side,10 min to Latin Qtrs/St.Germain on the left. Warning,4 floor walk up tough for two 60-yr olds,but the apt had everything we needed.Noisy trash pick up at 7 but wonderful church bells at 9.Wonderful views of the Seine from the bridges.Very happy with our selection & thanks to Eric for his welcome.Read this comment on Typepad

Loved my 12 nights stay in this charming studio apartment. Modern decor, clean uncluttered and easy to live in. Impressed with the sofa bed - very comfortable and effortless to use. Lots of light thru the 3 large windows. I'm mature aged and the 3 flights of stairs did not worry me at all. Excellent location.
