Location
By renting a Paris apartment on this discreet and self-contained island you will have an enchanting stay in the city. It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17Ith century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays. Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. It boasts a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brassery , delicate chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé.
Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby. The Pompidou Centre , the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, Champs Elysées, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.
Standing
This short term apartment rental in Paris is located on the 1st floor (French floor) of a building with a lift. It has a quiet courtyard and access is secured by a door code.
Layout
This 30sqm apartment has recently been renewed. It has a spacious room divided into several areas. The entrance runs into the dining area which has a fitted kitchen. The counter table can accomodate up to four guests.
The first sofabed which accommodates one person (80x190) has been installed in the dining-room area. A room divider (on a track) will give intimacy to those who will sleep in the double sofabed (queen size 160x200) of the living-room/bedroom area. There is also a desk in the living-room area.
A wardrobe enables you to store your clothes and luggage.
The bathroom with a bathtub and toilet is accessible from the kitchen / dining-room area.
This apartment can accomodate up to three guests and combines the charm of traditional (with wooden floor, nice wooden beam) with the comfort of contemporary apartments. You can go discover the city from your cozy Paris apartment.

L'appartement est petit mais magnifique. Cuisine ultra moderne et très fonctionnelle.Salle de bain avec douche adéquate pour un individu de 6 pieds 4 pouces et 280 lbs.Les 2 divans lits sont très confortables. TV Wifi et internet haute vitesse fonctionnent parfaitement bien.L'appartement donne sur une cour intérieure tranquille comme tout l'immeuble d'ailleurs.À mon arrivée l'appartement était impeccable très propre. De plus il est situé sur l'Île St-Louis en plein centre de Paris l'endroit où on doit demeurer à Paris.En bref! Je vais y retourner à coup sûr.Idéal pour 1 ou 2 personnes.Read this comment on Typepad

My partner and I found the apartment a perfect place for a week stay in Paris! We wanted this location and the price was right. The apartment was very functional and well designed. Really good for two people. The bed and mattress were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was great. really well designed. Quiet building with friendly people. Paris-addresses facilitated everything perfectly. The driver they sent, Jean-Claude, was a marvel and worth every Euro!. I would certainly stay their again.Read this comment on Typepad

The driver said we had arrived – Rue Saint Louis en L’lle, Isle Saint Louis. A pair of towering black doors filled the taxi’s side windows. Where was our apartment? Parisians swirled around our luggage - “beached whales” on a Paris footpath. The security lock clicked, the doors yielded and we stepped into a different world. A five storey light filled courtyard dwarfed us before long we sensed a delicious intimacy about it. Our apartment was on the first floor - (one storey up - we are Australians!) and this proved to be such a perfect place to spend six nights, we should have stayed longer. Inside three hundred year old walls and ceiling timbers have been cleverly exposed, contrasting sharply with the white walls and their generations of residents’ secrets. The apartment has a comfortable divan bed, a thoughtfully planned and well equipped kitchen, clever bathroom. Notre Dame is just a “stones throw” away; a secret place, perfect for one more foray to capture another of Paris’s delights. We found this apartment for our first trip to Paris and I could not have been more pleased. It is charming. I traveled with my two teenagers, and the apartment was just large enough. The kitchen was perfect and we used it every day - to enjoy a fresh breakfast with the lovely breads on the street, or for a simple dinner after a long day on our feet. Everything, from the updated bathroom, to the laundry closet, was ideally designed for the space. The shower was nice and hot. The beds were fine. The location and the neighbors were the highlights. As friendly as anyone we met in Europe. The owner was so accommodating and the value was tremendous. I dream of returning soon!Read this comment on Typepad
