You will have an enchanting stay in the city in one of the few Paris apartments available to rent on this discreet and self-contained island It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17Ith century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays, where you can join the locals in sitting along watching the world go by, or even bring a picnic. Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. There is a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries, delicate chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé.
Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby. The Pompidou Centre , the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, Champs Elysées, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.

The nearest metro stops to this Paris rental apartment are Cité, St Michel Notre Dame, Pont Marie and Sully-Morland. RERB will take you directly to and from CDG and ORLY airports.

Standing

This Paris apartment is located on the 1st floor of a good standard building without a lift. The access is secured by a door code. Note that the building has just been refaced (Jan 2012).

Agencement

This 35sqm apartment rental in Paris has been entirely renewed just recently.
It has a separate bedroom with a 160x200 double bed. The bedroom overlooks St Louis en L'ile Street but the double-glazed windows will guarantee you a peaceful atmosphere.
The entrance opens on the living-room and the fitted kitchen that is open on it.
It gives much space and charm to this room. It is in fact divided in two areas.
In the dining area with the counter that separates both areas you will be able to sit on the high chairs with a total of 4 guests. There is also a living area with a high quality sofabed (140x200) where 2 people will comfortably sleep, a coffee table and a large flat TV screen.
The bathroom is accessible from the corridor between the bedroom and the main room. It has an elegant walk-in shower and the toilet is in this room.

To conclude this apartment is perfect for four people. You will be seduced by the whole layout, the colors, the objects placed here and there, that are always discreet and refined. Everything has been chosen in order to present you with a top quality Paris rental apartment and to make sure your stay on St Louis Island will be unforgettable.

We stayed at this apartment the first week of October/2011. The apt. is exactly as it looks in photos. It was very comfortable for two and we did manage ok when our son spent the weekend on the sofa. But for all practical purposes 2 guests is a good number as living area is small. The apartment is very nicely organized. I especially appreciated all of the closet and shelf space which enabled me to unpack for a week. Scaffolding didn't bother us but noise did! Noise would keep me from staying in this apartment again. Even with the windows closed----which then became too warm for good sleep---the partiers on this busy street woke us at 1 or 2a.m. even on weeknights.If your window is opened even a crack, the street is in your bedroom! And the garbage pickup around 5am was awful. I am a sound sleeper and disregarded reviews that mentioned this as I wanted so to be on I'lle St. Louis! Winter would probably be quieter but next visit I will look for a location off the main street or a back bedroom. That said the services of Parisaddress were perfect from start to finish including airport pick up which I highly recommend.. I will definitely book through them again. Contrast that to a family member who booked through VRBO for a 3 bdrm nearby, paid cash upfront and who upon arrival found her apt. was double booked and she had to find someplace else for a party of 7!
