I had a delightful 3 weeks visit in Paris and loved my little apartment on 6 Rue de Sevigne. It is conveniently located and quite cheerful for a little place. It is beautifully renovated, has all the conveniences I needed and was very clean. The bed cover was a bit too hot, and I like to suggest you add a lightweight blanket.Read this comment on Typepad

The location of this apartment in the Marais is so good we did not have to take the Metro or bus during our 5 day stay in Paris. It is small but everything inside is new, clean and comfortable. We stayed there with our baby and it had everything we needed. The service was excelent, we look forward to staying here again during our next visit.Read this comment on Typepad

Quite small, but very nice. It is a first floor and you need artificial light all the time. But who cares about that when you are at the very heart of the Marais?Read this comment on Typepad

At first I was surprised by the size of this - little - flat... But it was conveniently located, and quite confortable! Everything you need is at walking distance. I spent almost a month there and it really felt like home. I'll make sure to book it for my next stay in Paris!Read this comment on Typepad

Service: Fast, friendly and reliable. The apartment: Small, as mentioned in the description, but clean. It is too dark for a longer stay, but being there for one week and only using it for sleeping, it was okay ...Because of the construction of the building, one can hear the neighbour above walking around in his apartment. The location: The location was one reason for me, choosing this apartment. It was in a backyard-building on a side street, so there was no traffic noise (important in Paris!). Otherwise, it was near a metro-station, cafés and supermarket were also close.Read this comment on Typepad

Je vous remercie pour votre politesse. Mon séjour à Paris a été merveilleux: le studio en rue de Sévigné était vraiment agréable et sa position vraiment exeptionelle. Nous souhaitons d’y revenir l'année prochaine. Merci bien Maria GabriellaRead this comment on Typepad

The location was great and the office was very responsive. The apartment was small, but tolerable. I would have appreciated a good reading light and one or two comfortable chairs (there were only dining table chairs). Also, our orientation to the apartment didn't include the cable TV and the telephone.Read this comment on Typepad

Great apartment, helpful service, very central -- only problem was the non-functional internet. And the endless rain! I'd definitely be backRead this comment on Typepad

We enjoyed staying at 6 Rue de Sevigne very much: a central location in an evocative old building, its wooden stairs worn smooth by no doubt thousands of tenants. We were met by a friendly and accommodating representative and found the flat clean, warm and well-appointed (although I do endorse the comment about the poor light for reading - regrettably, something that seems to be fairly standard in older properties in France).Read this comment on Typepad

Three words: Location, Location, Location! This apartment is perfectly located just a one minute walk from the Metro, with wonderful cafes and shops nearby, in the best neighbourhood in Paris. We found the apartment to be quiet and comfortable and the staff to be very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely return to Parisaddress again.Read this comment on Typepad

Our stay at 6, Rue de Sevigne was very pleasant. The studio has a simple and efficient contemporary design and layout, it is well-equipped, and is very quiet and comfortable at night. ParisAddress responded to email inquiries quickly and the studio was found in a very clean condition. The location is excellent if you like being in the charming Marais, and in close walking distance to the heart of the city. The Metro station is very close-by, so you will be well connected with the rest of Paris.Read this comment on Typepad

The location of this apartment is great. In the heart of Marais, there are lots of restaurants and you are close to the Metro. There is lot of boutiques my wife enjoyed shopping at within one block of the apartment. Access is through a digicode and then another gate with a key and then the door has two deadbolts and this made me feel very safe. The apartment is on the second floor and is very clean. I like the bathroom with the glass bowl sink design. The shower is small but it is also clean. The wood floors are clean and go well with the dark wooden beams in the apartment. The kitchenette has a two burner halogen stovetop, new stainless steel microwave, small but functional sink and plenty of dishes/pots/pans. I wish the lighting in the main room was a little better. I think the addition of a stand up lamp would be a big help. There is a heater and a small space heater that kept the apartment warm. I loved the bed; it is bigger than a double bed because it is round. It is very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and the blankets are warm and plentiful. There was a leak in the bathroom shower and Parisaddress came and fixed it the same day and also replaced our dirty towels with clean ones. Overall I am very impressed with SEVI 6 and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris.Read this comment on Typepad

This is the second year I stayed at 6 Rue de Sevigne. I love the apartment. It is a perfect mixture of the old Marais with the conveniences of a Euro chic bathroom and kitchen. The location is fantastic for accessing any of the prime spots in Paris and for commuting to other areas. The area is brimming with activity but the apartment is very quiet due to the courtyard view. The staff is extremely helpful. I hope to continue staying at this location for years to come.Read this comment on Typepad

Read this comment on Typepad

Happy to leave a coment after a wonderful stay in Paris. The position of the apartment is fantastic for access to all of the best places to visit, close to the St Paul Metro (we liked the Metro). Very private and secure apartment ideal for a first visit to Paris. We found it quite dull inside where the advertised picture is very bright and airy but who wants to stay inside when you are in Paris? We would book this apartment again.Read this comment on Typepad

I spent two lovely weeks in Paris and found everything as others have remarked. My ParisAddress contact was available by phone when I forgot to bring the door code with me; thus avoiding a dreadful wait to get back inside. While small changes would make this perfect, it was wonderful and I plan to return (and have recommended it to friends.) The immediate neighborhood is fairly commercial, but lovely small gardens are just minutes away. The trick to stopping up the bathroom sink is to depress and then slightly turn the large "button." Reversing this opens it up to drain again. It's a quiet apartment and a beauty.Read this comment on Typepad

I am a flight attendant and fly Paris every week but it isn't enough for me (and my husband certainly doesn't have the same opportunity. I decided where to stay and checked out locations of various Marais apartments from many companies on my various layovers in Paris. I decided this was the best located for our needs--one block away from line#1--the best. The fruit seller is expensive but has fantastic produce.Monoprix is a short distance, and the taxi stand is next to the Metro. Shopping? The Marais is full of boutiques.Restaurants? I found Michelin rated bistros(I don't do the walk in any restaurant and expect a good meal routine any more) nearby and rue de Rosiers is very close for falafel. When we asked for extra towels, we had them the next day. Our assistant was rushed when we met with her the first day because our flight was delayed. She went too fast with the info for 2 jet lagged people. The TV didn't have many chanels so it was better that I didn't watch anything, anyway. Wifi was better than home..FAST! Shower drain starts to smell bad so I bought "javel"(chlorox)and poured it down the drain when needed. Would I go back to this apt. after everything you read? In a nanosecond.Read this comment on Typepad

This was our second stay at SEVI6 and we enjoyed it for the same reasons as before: excellent central location, characterful building etc. However, we did experience some down-sides this time: particularly the constantly malodourus bathroom and the fact that the washbasin drainer jammed making the basin unusable. Also, we couldn't get the TV to work. Your rep did try to explain it to us but he seemed rather uncertain himself: it had worked fine on our previous visit. That didn't matter much to us - and we didn't want to stay inside to wait for someone to come and fix it and the washbasin - but we weren't quite so enamoured of the apartment as we were last time.Read this comment on Typepad

My daughter and I spent six days in this apartment. The good points are the location (close to metro, shopping, restaurants) and being on the first floor (U.S. second floor) so not too far to walk up. Everything worked for us, including the television and internet. The wifi router occasionally needed to be rebooted. If you can't get the router to work, just plug the cable into your laptop. We appreciated the tiny kitchen, even though we didn't cook much and mostly used the refrigerator for our fruit, cheese and water. The negative points are the boring decor (very brown) and darkness of the apartment. It's near the bottom of a tiny courtyard (think air shaft) with five or six floors of building above blocking out the light. Oh, and the smell from the shower drain, which has been mentioned by other people who stayed here. Check around and see if a former tenant has left any bleach (Javel). If not, head to the Monoprix down the street and buy a big jug. Pour Javel down the shower drain as needed. The apartment will smell like bleach, but believe me that's better. We enjoyed our meals at the creperie downstairs and the tapas restaurant across the street, both great for a night when you are tired from running around in Paris and just want to stay close to home.Read this comment on Typepad

Last May I stayed in this little apartment for 1 week.... and I absolutly loved it. Everything was the way I expected: apartment itself, service and of course the location. In October I stayed at parisaddress's apt. on Rue St. Paul and my stay was equally enjoyable. I recommed this renting firm to every one who is plannig to visit Paris. Surly enough, when I go back ( and I will!) I am going to use parisaddress again. Thanks guys for running such a good and afordable service.Read this comment on Typepad

I had a great stay of 4 weeks in this apartment and found the location was excellent and the apartment comfortable. My daughter also stayed for the last 2 weeks and we found the shops on Rue de Rivoli were great for all our needs. The Tapas Bar opposite was so handy when we were tired after a day out and CRU Restaurant at the village area of St Paul is a top class restaurant. The only problems were as other people have mentioned - the terrible drain smell in the bathroom, our inability to access TV programs and the telephone which was not set up for phone calls. More information needs to be available about the TV and the telephone system. The information for when the WIFI went off-line, as it did several times, was excellent. Despite these problems we would love to stay there again.Read this comment on Typepad

we had a great stay at the sevi6 appartment last july. the location is great (!!!) - central area in the city, great ambiance, very safe and live even at late night. Boulangerie, fromagerie, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and a metro station near by. the appartment is very nicely renovated and well equiped. true - the smell in the bathroom is a bit moldy but it's not that bad and nor significant. there is no dish washer in the appartment and there isn't much light also nor an elavator - but it is still a great place to stay. we would return to the same appartment and use parisaddress again with out hesitation. we also used taxi service via parisaddress and the driver (jean paul) was great! he waited at the airport at the time of our arrival and was very nice and pleasant. we also recommend to visit a wonderful restaurant near by - le coud feaux (not sure about the exact spelling). this is a wonderfull crowded place with great wine and superb main courses. we think the sevi6 appartment is a good choice which allows you to enjoy paris as a local.Read this comment on Typepad
