It is close to Place Leon Blum and the very famous cemetery Pere Lachaise, where Edith Piaf, Jim Morrison, Alexandre Dumas and many more are buried.
Nearby you will find all the shops you need, such as a supermarket, groceries and bakeries. Republique or Bastille are very accessible by metro or by bus.
The closest metro stations are Voltaire and Charonnes. From Charonnes you can reach Nation and the RER A in two minutes.
Standing
The apartment is located on the 5th floor of a beautiful, typically Parisian, building with a lift.
The windows of the living-room open to a long balcony overlooking Voltaire Boulevard. The windows of the bedroom look onto quiet courtyards.
Layout
This 100sqm apartment rental in Paris has two separate bedrooms. The main room is very spacious and nicely decorated with art pieces. It is divided in two areas. The dining area has table and chairs for six people, and the living area has a coffee table, a couch and a sofabed where two people can sleep (140x200).
The windows are double glazed, ensuring a peaceful environment. Should you want to have a drink watching the sunset from the apartment, the balcony will be perfect for you!
The entrance hall leads to the main room, and on the other side, there is a corridor to the bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed (160x200). You will have to cross the first bedroom to reach the second one. It also has a double bed (160x200) and you will find a large wardrobe and wall closet to store your clothes.
A folding room-divider has been installed in the first bedroom to gives more intimacy to its occupants.
The bathroom is accessible from the corridor. It is spacious with a bathtub and two washbasins. The washing-machine is in the bathroom.

We had the pleasure of staying at 123 Voltaire for 10 days from October 4 to October 14, 2010. It was our fifth trip to Paris and our first visit renting a flat. There were four of us in our group and the flat was large enough for us and very comfortable. The living room was one large room with a "french" feel to it and was comfortable with 2 couches and a beautiful dining table that could sit six. The dining chairs were very comfortable as well. The kitchen was good sized and had all of the amenities (microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher). The larger bedroom was nice and the second bedroom was primarily an alcove with a fabric divider. However this worked fine for us. The bathroom was roomy with a tub/shower, double sink vanity and a washing machine. The Blvd. Voltaire is a somewhat noisy busy street but the double paned windows kept the noise at bay when we wanted quiet. The large window/doors open on to a small balcony on to the Blvd. The area was nice with markets for groceries in every direction, as well as cafes and bistros close to the flat. The metro is less than a block away which makes it very convenient as well. Staff from Parisaddress met us at our flat upon our arrival in the evening and set up up with the free wifi which was nice and allowed us to use our iPhone in the flat. They were very helpful and one individual came to change a lightbulb and followed up via text message to see if we needed any other assistance. We would definitely use Parisaddress again in the future and recommend renting a flat as it is a great way to enjoy the city.Read this comment on Typepad

We stayed here for 1 month in July 2011 and loved it. The apartment is great, all appliances work fine, had wifi, kitchen is fully equipped. The location cant be better - 10 mins walk from Bastille, which has a great street market on thursdays and sundays. Metro and bus stop is around the corner. This is on the 69 bus route which takes you to all major sights. There are 3 supermarkets around the corner, also a butchery, fromagier, chocolatier and patisserie. Marais is walking distance from here. Very well connected to all the train stations for going outside paris.Read this comment on Typepad
