Location
You will have an enchanting stay in the city in one of the few Paris rental apartments on this discreet and self-contained island It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17Ith century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays, where you can join the locals in sitting along watching the world go by, or even bring a picnic. Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. There is a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries, delicate chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé.
Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby. The Pompidou Centre , the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, Champs Elysées, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.
The nearest metro stops to this Paris rental apartment are Cité, St Michel Notre Dame, Pont Marie and Sully-Morland. RERB will take you directly to and from CDG and ORLY airports.
The Paris vacation apartment is situated on one of the quietest streets on the island, Rue Jean du Bellay, on which the car traffic is rare. It is the junction between Isle Saint Louis and Isle de la Cité, and between Bridge Louis Philippe and the new Bridge Saint Louis.

We really enjoyed this apartment- it was very modern and comfortable, and the location could not be better. It was a nice quiet place to come back to. We would highly recommend it. We only wish the person greeting us at the apartment would have given us some instructions on how to navigate the RER into the city, as this resulted in some delays in getting there, and unfortunately made us late! We loved our apartment and its location on our recent stay in Paris. It was comfortable and soooo quiet. Such a nice retreat to have in a busy city. My husband and I loved this apartment for our two week stay in Paris. It is modern, clean, quiet and in the heart of Paris on its own island. The layout is great for a small apartment and storage is ample. We loved coming home to this apartment.Read this comment on Typepad
