Location.
By renting a Paris apartment on this discreet and self-contained island on the River Seine you will have an enchanting stay in the city. It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17Ith century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays. Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. It boasts a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brassery , delicate chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé.
Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby your Paris apartment rental. The Pompidou Centre , the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, Champs Elysées, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.
Standing.
The apartment is on a typical Parisian building. Access is secured by an intercom. The apartment is on the 5th floor, without an elevator, with a beautiful view over the Seine.
Layout.
The apartment in Paris has been fully renovated 9 months ago. It offers high quality amenities and has a 55 m2 surface. It consists of a bedroom, a living room with an open kitchen and a bathroom and toilet. The main room / lounge, has a round table dinner for up to 6 people and a leather sofa with two armchairs. For musicians, a beautiful piano (electric), allows them to practice their music in Paris. The kitchen is very modern and fully equipped with a steam oven, hob and large fridge.The bedroom, on the back of the apartment, has a double bed (160 * 200) and a large dressing room. The bathroom has a large separate shower. In addition to being a very well accommodated Paris apartment, it offers a fabulous view over the Seine with a small balcony where a glass of white wine in the late afternoon will be a real pleasure!
Special note.
This apartment can be rented with "BOUR416", a studio on the same building on the 6th floor.

The Bourbon apartment was a perfect place for a week in Paris - unbeatable location, great view of Paris and the Seine from balcony, lovely renovated facilities, excellent kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities, comfortable furniture and even stylish! Fabulous view. Nicely appointed apartment. Excellent bathroom with mosaic tiles, large shower & sink counter area. Separate toilet. Kitchen with all amenities. Comfortable bed. Easily arranged greeting with ParisAddress, with greeter available for a question during stay. The only negatives are the hike up several flights, very rough bedsheets, and insufficient number of bath towels for a 1 week stay. Would stay again.Read this comment on Typepad

Fabulous Apt and location for a couple's first time trip to Paris. Excellent bathroom - large shower & sink counter area. One negative is the very small separate toilet, but it is really the only compromise given a great open kitchen with all amenities, very comfortable bed, and nice terrace. ParisAddres greeter was easily contacted once in Paris and was promt to welcome and show us the apt. available for a question during stay. Would stay again.Read this comment on Typepad

The apartment was perfect for our week-long stay in Paris, great location and view and all the amenities. We chose it for the bathroom size and the balcony overlooking the Seine and were not disappointed. We would definitely stay again. It would be good to have an alternative bedcover to the quilt, something lighter in warm weather.Read this comment on Typepad

I recently stayed in this apartment for a month. It was terrific in terms of location, size and quality. I will stay there again and have recommended it to many Australian travellers. This organisation is thoroughly professional and of great assistance when I arrived, helping me with setting up the internet and directions to local shops etc. I agree with other comments that a lighter quilt for warmer weather would be useful. My only warning is to make sure you are prepared for the five flights of stairs - I saw it as a good way to combat the delicious croissants from the boulangerie!Read this comment on Typepad
