The apartment on Ile Saint Louis has the advantage of an excellent location for exploring central Paris by foot. It is an ideal size for 2 people and is very comfortable. It is to be noted though that the apartment block is a living block and the neighbours get up very early for work if you are expecting a lie in. Unfortunately, at the time of my visit the apartment had just been redecorated and the smell of paint was quite overpowering in the night, this will pass and I hope that others enjoy the facilities as much as I did.Read this comment on Typepad

We loved our stay in LEGR23. It was well furnished and very comfortable (including a very comfortable bed which was easy to open and close). It was also very quiet and the lift in the building was handy. The location was ideal for exploring Paris. We stayed with our 18 month old son - a cot was provided without any problems and we found it big enough for the 3 of us. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. The only down side were that we did have problems with the internet, there was no iron (a complete inventory would have been useful) and the instructions for how things work could have been better organised. We would certainly recommend the experience.Read this comment on Typepad

I've alwaays wanted to stay on the Ile St Louis, which is an ideal location. The apartment was very comfortable, attractive, well-furnished and well-equipped. We had problems at first operating the television but the staff at Paris Address responded promptly to our request for help. This was our first short term apartment rental and it worked out very well. I recommend it.Read this comment on Typepad

I was lucky enough to call LEGR23 my home for 3 months. The apartment itself is well furnished and perfect for a single or couple. Loved the fittings throughout the apartment - wireless internet, bath, washing machine and drier, telephone and, dishwasher and also a lift within the building. All of these features made it an ideal place for a longer stay. If you do think about a longer stay, then I suggest a couple of items would need attention - the option of storage facilities in the cave and also the ability for mail to be received at the apartment. Whilst my service from the Paris Address staff was friendly, attentive and prompt throughout my stay, these two areas remained unresolved. It was a fantastic experience to live on Ile St Louis and I would highly recommend the apartment, the area and Paris AddressRead this comment on Typepad

Nice place, great location, very stylish apartment with all the accoutrements needed for a short or long term stay. If I stay more than a couple of days again in the future, I'll ask for this location or another Paris Address location just to try living in another part of this wonderful city. I would agree with all the comments prior to mine except that the fresh paint smell is now gone.Read this comment on Typepad

Our stay in Paris with your service was fantastic. We were very happy with the professionalism of the company and the help we recieved from Frederico. The Apartment looked just as good as the photos in internet, very clean and everything worked. We would reccomend this location because it is about as central as you can get right next to Notre Dame. We were able to walk to many locations. The apartment was comfortable and warm. We hope others will enjoy it too! Thanks for a wonderful Parisean experience.Read this comment on Typepad

Staying in an apartment like this made all the difference in the world for our two-week stay in Paris. I had visited many websites, but Paris Address was the one with the best information, fastest service and easiest payment. This got my planning off to a great start. We knew that Ile St Louis was a prestigious address, but we discovered that after a day of walking all over the city, we loved coming home to our little neighborhood. The apartment was smartly designed for the amount of space. The WiFi enabled us to check email and keep work moving along while we were gone. We also really enjoyed being able to cook there after shopping for dinner on our island. We recommend taking advantage of the taxi pick up to/from the airport. After more than 13 hours in the air, we appreciated having someone meet us to take us directly to the apartment. Thank you so much for everything. Terri and KenRead this comment on Typepad

The apartment was everything I hoped it would be: light and airy, with mega high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. It had all the comforts I could wish for, including a washer/dryer, and ample storage. Brilliantly designed for such a small space, it really does make the most of what it's got. My only sadness is that it's not my own apartment to pop back to as and when! The one drawback I'd mention would be the noise of the dustbin men most mornings at the crack of dawn, however it's probably a feature of Parisian life, as opposed to specific to that apartment.Read this comment on Typepad

Thanks again for a great stay! The apartment was a great base for me and my dog, Spot! I loved walking downstairs in the morning for my paper and croissant, and Spot made new friends on the footpath around the island. Your staff was excellent. LEGR23 was very comfortable, well equipped and a great location -central and quiet, and the best ice creams are just around the corner. The friendly welcome and tour of the apartment from Frederic was great. Last year we enjoyed our stay at FRSA5 and cannot agree on which was better. Hearing the church bells ringing in the morning, having Berthillion right around the corner, the tartin legume at the bakery just steps away and views of the river makes this an ideal spot. The light filled apartment was such a nice change from our dark Manhattan apartment. Just enough space for two. The only thing it needed was full length mirror for those nights we had to look our best.Read this comment on Typepad

We stayed at LEGR23 for a week at the end of June 2007 and it was terrific. Frederic who was delighful met us on time, showed us the ropes and made us feel very welcome. The apaprtment itself was charming and made our stay in Paris very memeorable. It was well appointed, light, airy and importantly very well locted and quiet. We had a slight problem with the plumbing and within 20 minutes someone was there to fix the problem. I would always recommend the apartment and the excellent service provided by Parisaddress. We stayed in the apartment at #6 Bailleul on our recent week in Paris. What a perfect location it was for us to get around the city. Within easy walking distance to many of the city's attractions, we hardly were concerned by the transit strike that was in effect during our stay.We now know where we will attempt to book our stay on our next visit to Paris.Read this comment on Typepad

We loved our stay in LEGR23 in early January. Paris was wonderful as always and this is an ideal location to enjoy it. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet, and best of all, so close to the best ice cream in the world at Berthillon's. We were a little nervous about the arrangements since our train from Salzburg didn't arrive until 10:30pm. But Yohan was waiting for us (out in the COLD!) in front of #23. He was very patient and helpful AND has great hair! Our only question was about the washer/dryer The washer worked perfectly, but the drying was not very effective. It wasn't a problem as long as you weren't counting on wearing something soon! Or maybe we did something wrong in the settings. We will stay in LEGR23 again! Our long time favorite restaurant is also right around the corner - Tastevin.Read this comment on Typepad

The apartment in on the isle of Saint Louis is ideal. Quiet but steps from all you want to see. Supermarket, bakery, gelato, cafe, chees shop and river all within a block. Very residential and easy to find when coming home tired. Will come back again and again. Staff was on time and helpful. Cab I asked the staff to order was not there at airport nor did it pick me up to take me back. Hard to find a cab at 6 am on Friday morning pulling luggage.Read this comment on Typepad

We stayed in this apartment during New Year's eve period, and we greatly enjoyed it. The heating was OK, the bathroom spacious and comfortable, the bed very good. You have everything you need if you want to cook, even if it's difficult because this apartment is very small, but you don't go to Paris to cook. The building is really very quiet, you can sleep late in the morning, and the location is perfect! In the evening we had our little stroll to Notre Dame, which is very near. We recommend it to a couple, very romantic. Only little difficulty: it's small, problems with putting away suitcases.Read this comment on Typepad

We had a wonderful stay at this location. This was a cozy place, just the right size for me and my wife. The person who greeted us was extra nice and gave us instructions and a tour of the place. We had trouble with the wireless (something about PCs sometimes having trouble but Macs did not) but it didn't matter because they had an ethernet cable. Ile St Louis is a very beautiful place to stay. There is a supermarket and a bakery just around the corner with reasonable prices. Notre Dame is just a couple of minutes away and we walked by there almost every day during our stay. From the airport (CDG), take the RER B line to Paris and get off at Saint Michel and walk to the apartment. It is a beautiful walk to the apartment, especially when you walk by the Notre Dame and Seine river for the first time. Also, note that although this is an island, it does not look like an island! Ile de Cite does not either (where Notre Dame is located). I definately want to come back to Paris and would recommend ParisAddress.Read this comment on Typepad

Just left- had a wonderful stay and the apt is fantastic. The location couldn't be better and was equipped with everything we needed (only exception- wish the washing machine was a dryer, as well- had to hang our things all over to dry them). Lucia was very kind and flexible in meeting us later than our arranged time to let us in. The cafes and restaurants on the island were very good. Cannot wait to return and will recommend to anyone visiting Paris.Read this comment on Typepad

Just had a wonderful weekend stay here with my mom. The location was unbeatable with every convenience seconds away. It was very quiet, clean and bright. ParisAddress team was very accomodating offering us this place (an upgrade) as the one we had originally booked was under repair. Were very professional to work with. We would have liked having the option to have two sets of keys and the outside buzzer was not available to us as there was confusion about what the apartment number was. Had we wanted to separate it would have made for some confusion. Would recommend this apartment and the parisaddress service. Thank you!Read this comment on Typepad

Our one week stay at LEGR23 was exceptional and proved to us that we CAN retire happily to a small apartment in Paris! My husband and I were amazed at how thorough and accomodating the service is from ParisAddress. From our first e-mail inquiry until Yohan accompanied us right to the business class check-in line at American Airlines for our departure to New York everything was parfait! Jean Marc (?) was waiting for us outside of customs upon arrival and Lucia was at the door to our apartment (in the rain at 0900 on a Sunday morning!) to greet us and give us a complete tour of all of the apartment's amenities (and there are many!) She patiently explained how everything worked and waited until our laptop was up and running. We felt at home instantly. The location is ideal: quiet, cozy and central. We walked all over Paris from the Ile taking the metro only once to the Christmas Market at La Defense. Pre-Christmas is a magical time to visit Paris. The lights and decorations are incroyable. We dined at home just once and found that we lacked for nothing in the apartment...we could have even invited guests! I cannot adequately describe how amazing the service is from parisaddress. We will prove our loyalty by returning next year to LEGR23. Merci beaucoup tout le monde a parisaddress.Read this comment on Typepad

Our week in LEGR23 was a delight! We fell in love with Ile Saint Louis, and felt that we had chosen the perfect "home" from which to explore Paris for our very first time! The apartment is lovely - light, airy and quiet - with well maintained amenities, and the neighbourhood is wonderful, with cafes, restaurants, and shops just minutes away, as well as a great little grocery store and a fantastic bakery literally around the corner! The representative from Paris Address made the checking in process easy, informative, and friendly. We have been most pleased and impressed with our Paris Address experience, and will definitely stay in this apartment again when we return to Paris (because one week in this glorious city is definitely not enough!)Read this comment on Typepad

We enjoyed our 9 days in the flat in mid-September. It was pleasant, airy and in a convenient location--close to sights but quiet and village-like. It was lovely waking each morning to the smells from the bakery below. Joel, the agency rep, met us on time, was very professional, and showed us everything we needed to know about the flat. We enjoyed having a bathtub as well as a shower, high quality bedding, and a good TV. The flat was very clean. It is small but not cramped. We'd book again through this agency if ever back in Paris. Suggestions: The kitchen needs more teaspoons and bowls, and the ironing board could be replaced. The bathroom had a off-putting smell, but it vanished after we kept the window open and used some spray in the room for a few days.Read this comment on Typepad
