Location
By renting a Paris apartment on this discreet and self-contained island you will have an enchanting stay in the city. It is delightfully unspoiled and has a mixture of handsome 17Ith century architecture, modern boutiques, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays. Running lengthwise along the island is the main street, Rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. It boasts a Baroque church, refined boutiques, old-fashioned bistros and brassery , delicate chocolate and food shops, a florist, bakeries, a wonderful cheese shop and many pretty salon de thé.
Many of the most attractive sites Paris has to offer are located nearby. The Pompidou Centre , the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Garden, Champs Elysées, the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter, the Bastille and Le Marais are all within walking distance and Notre Dame is just across the bridge, on Ile de la Cité.
Standing
This short term apartment rental in Paris is located on the 1st floor of a building without a lift. Access is secured by a door code for the first gate and a magnetic key for the second gate.
Note that this part of St Louis en l'Ile Street is much quieter at night than the west part of the street.
Layout
This 26sqm (280sq ft) rental studio in Paris was entirely renovated by an architect three years ago and has been refreshed in May 2011.
The main room has a sofabed where two people can comfortably sleep (140X200). On both sides of the bed you will find a closet / wardrobe to store your clothes and belongings.
The dining table can accommodate two guests. The studio also features a desk and a flat TV screen.
The fitted kitchen features a dish-washer and an electric mix-oven. It has a window to ventilate the place in case you feel like cooking !
A colored glass divides the kitchen and the bathroom of this Paris rental apartment. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, a beautiful washbasin and the toilets.
This charming Paris studio can sleep up to two people and everything has been thought through to make optimum use of the space. The genuine wooden floor, called 'Versailles', is the only thing the architect kept when he renovated the apartment, creating a nice contrast with the contemporary spirit of the place as the Paris rental studio is furnished with nothing but made-to-measure contemporary units.
