Location
In the heart of the Marais, two steps away from the village, this apartment that is available to rent in Paris enjoys an exceptional site. The population of the Marais is kind, smart and relaxed,and are known as "Middle-class bohêmes" or "Bobo", knowing how to live and behave well. Very multicultural, the Parisians of the Marais appreciate the foreigners and the visitors, with many of them speaking English. Walking in the streets at any time is very pleasant and safe.
From this Paris apartment rental you can walk to many sites on the right bank (St Antoine Street, Turenne St., Rosiers St., Rivoli St.) or on the left bank (Latin quarter, St Michel), and you are very close to St Louis Island. It is also easy to walk to the Museum of the Louvre, tthe BHV (Bazard of the Town hall) and Notre Dame.
Standing
Building of good standing looking on a charming interior courtyard. The Paris apartment is on the third and last floor without elevator. The building is very protected with an access by digicode.
Layout
Paris apartment of 45 m2 taht has been recently renovated. The main room has a sofabed allowing two additional beds. The very modern kitchen is open on the living room. The bedroom has a double bed (160*200). The bathroom has a bath-tub. This apartment to rent in Paris is very pretty and is tastefully furnished in a modern style. There are two large flat screen TVs, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom that add a touch of design to the decoration. A perfect two-bedroom Paris apartment to stay in when visiting the city.

You guys were great. Frederic took good care of me. You changed apartments for me when the first one had construction. The one you moved me to, the area is delightful. I'd never stayed in Marais before. I want to go back. Lovely. The apartment was very nice. Quiet, mostly. The paint smell was horrilbe at first, and lasted the entire 3 weeks I was there. But, I like it cold, so I kept the windows open the whole time, and because the place was so nice and quiet, it worked out fine. The old lady on the first floor has a very sweet smile. And I wished I could make friends with somone in the building who made the most wonderful smelling food! I'll be back. BillRead this comment on Typepad

Bonjour Yohan J’allais vous envoyer mes observations bientôt mais suite à votre invitation je le fais immédiatement. Nous sommes rentrés à Montréal lundi soir enchantés de notre séjour à Paris, bénis des dieux pour avoir profité de votre soleil chaque jour du mois d’avril. Depuis décembre dernier, au moment de notre choix de votre compagnie, le service a été de première classe. Efficace, précis, rapide et professionnel. À notre arrivée et au départ le chauffeur était ponctuel, courtois et d’agréable compagnie. Le lieu de notre séjour, le Marais, avait été un excellent choix et l’appartement, très récemment remis à neuf, était impeccable. L’accueil et la présentation des lieux par Frédéric a été sympathique et fort appréciée. D’autant plus que son humour et sa connaissance des québécois aura été notre premier contact avec le lieu de notre séjour. Nous avons déjà recommandé votre compagnie à des amis pour votre efficacité, un service professionnel de même qu’un prix raisonnable. Quelques réserves sur le fonctionnement des appareils ménagers. Nous avons essayé une fois la laveuse/sécheuse (sans grand résultat) et jamais le lave-vaisselle; nous avons mis un certain temps à comprendre le fonctionnement du four. Une observation sur le mobilier: vos fauteuils noirs ne sont pas très confortables et je vous suggère d’enlever sous ces fauteuils les agrafes qui risquent d’abîmer le plancher. Une suggestion pour les futurs locataires canadiens francophones: vous adresser à eux en français dans vos communications écrites. Certains québécois sont sensibles sur ce sujet. Apartment is very clean, non-smoking, and very quiet, which was important for us. Recently renovated, everything is new. Modern design and furniture (too modern for my taste). The bed is comfortable, the sofa is ... OK. Has a combo of washer/dryer, so we were able to bring less cloth. Good location. Nice touristic area. Walking distance to everything (metro St.-Paul and Bastille).Read this comment on Typepad

We stayed at the apartment in 11 rue Beautreillis. I love Marais so the location was excellent! The building has a lovely yard and the Parisians living there were very nice to us. The apartment is on a quiet sidestreet of rue St.Antoine (the "main street" of Marais)and lots of nice restaurants are just around the corner. We even sat on the next table to John Malcovich in a restaurant in rue Beautreillis! We walked to Les Halles, Quartier Latin etc. from the apartment, so it's not far from anywhere really.Read this comment on Typepad

Marais is great location to stay in when visiting paris. Basically because of it's location on the Number 1 Metro line (Bastille or St Paul were our closest stops - http://www.aparisguide.com/maps/metro.htm ) it made it supereasy to traverse east /west through paris and then jump on the appropriate north/south metro if and when we needed to change. Apartment is super comfy and totally big enough for 3 adults (maybe even 4)Read this comment on Typepad

Un appartement très bien situé, à 2 pas de la place des Vosges,de la station La Bastille, des épiceries et restaurants. La cuisine est bien équipée mais j'aurais aimé y retrouver quelques essentiels de cuisson comme de l'huile d'olive, sel et poivre que l'on trouve habituellement dans ce type de location. Un détail! Very quiet, and very well located. Magnificent Vernis du Japon (exotic tree) in the middle of the courtyard. Close to subway and lively rue Saint Antoine, but to me, the QUIET was priceless. Nice place too, clean and modern. My only suggestion: the directions for use of the washing machine and diswasher could be written more clearly. It is simple, but it took me a bit to figure out how to use the washing machine/dryer. Not too worry when you hear a sound like a golf ball falling in a very very very deep hollow box: it is the inner courtyard gate closing... : ) Also try the restaurant down the street, left side near rue Saint Antoine, it is excellent; and the little theater across the street is wonderful (plays are in French, though, from the classical repertoire).Read this comment on Typepad
