Location

The Perche Street is in the heart of the Marais, close to some of the most watched galleries in Paris, 100m far from Picasso Museum, in one of the most pleasant and trendy areas of Paris. The neighborhood is very lively and this street has the advantage of being really quiet. You will find many cafes and restaurants near this Paris vacation flat as well as trendy shops and art galleries. You also have the chance to stay close to Le Marché des Enfants Rouges, a famous indoor market.The closest metro stations to the Paris apartment are Temple and Filles du Calvaire.

Standing

Located on the 2nd floor of a very nice building recently renovated equipped with a lift. The access is secured by a door code and second gate with an intercom. The apartment is very quiet. The main room gives on the quiet street and the many other windows give on the courtyard.

Layout

This high-end 88sqm apartment has two bedrooms. One of them is on a mezzanine, open on the living area. It can sleep up to six guests since the living-room features a comfortable sofabed with a queen size bed 160x200.


The entrance hall opens on the main room. This living-area has been organized in two parts : first the dining-area with a dining table for six people, then the living-room, featuring the sofabed, a coffee table and a large flat TV on the wall.


Ten steps will lead you to the mezzanine features a double bed (140x200).


From the dining-room you will access the modern and well-equipped kitchen. If you keep walking until the end of the corridor, you will reach the elegant master bedroom. It features a queen size bed (160x200) and a large dressing area. Just before the bedroom you will find a sitting area / office featuring a desk and an armchair. Perfect if you need your privacy to work or just relax a little.


The large bathroom is very lovely, it features a walk-in shower with high-end lighting and a bathtub. Toilets are in a separate room next to the entrance hall.



To conclude, this spacious and luxury apartment can sleep up to six guests. It is tastefully decorated and organized with nothing but high-end features, well-chosen pieces of art such as these beautiful pictures. You will love this contemporary, very elegant apartment owned and decorated by an interior designer.

First off, working with the staff of Paris Address has been a wonderful experience. Whether dealing with Carlos, our agent, or any of the other people in the office (both before and during our stary) we found them to be friendly and to respond immediately to any question or concern. The apartment at rue du Perche is a lovely place to call home temporarily - it is nicely appointed and very convenient to life in the Marais and beyond. It is important to know (I do not recall this being mentioned in the listing, but I may have missed it) that the second sleeping area in the loft has a very low ceiling clearance and adults cannot stand up in it. This did not affect us as we were not planning on using that space anyway, but might be important to others. The only deficiencies we experienced in the apartment were really outside the control of Paris Address or even the owners...the elevator was out of order throughout our stay which didn't affect us but might someone who was depending on it and the presence of rodents which is much more an issue with the old architecture than with any concern with cleanliness or care of the building. I would recommend using the taxi service through Paris Address for transport from the airport to the apartment but I would not advise using them to go to the train stations...airport service costs were in line with the meter reading but charges to go to the Gare du Nord were between 6 and 7 times the meter charge. It is much more reasonable to get a number to call directly or to find a taxi on the street. Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely employ the services of Paris Address when planning our next visit to Paris and would seriously consider renting this apartment again unless we chose to seek housing in a different neighborhood.
