This apartment to rent in Paris has an exceptional location : two steps away from the Seine, in the Marais district, the heart of Paris is laid beneath your feet. Everything is close by. On foot you can reach the main tourist points (Notre Dame, Shoah, African Art, Carnavalet museums, Pompidou centre etc) and you can even see a few of them from the apartment’s windows. There are also many shops, bars and restaurants which are just waiting for you (Chez Julien for example). The area is safe and very lively and taking a stroll from your Paris rental will show you a very personal and authentic side of the city. The closest subway stop is Pont Marie.
Standing
The building is protected by a code and an intercom. The Paris rental apartment is on the 6th floor without a lift. It has been entirely renovated and refurnished recently : brand new modern furniture, both comfortable and tastful, is at your disposal. The double exposure ensures light during the whole day and the view is just magic : from the bedroom you will see the Seine and from the living room, the Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame and St Gervais church. Such a view will make you fall in love with this apartment and Paris.
Lay out
At the same time both a studio and apartment with two rooms, it has a very comfortable double bed and many closets on the bedroom side where you can store your luggage and other items. On the living room side, there is a designer dining table and a coffee table with armchairs. Everything is very functional and comfortable. Easy to use and live in, space optimization is the key word here. The fully equipped kitchen is open onto the living room. The bathroom has a walk in shower and toilet. This flat in Paris, although on the sixth floor, brings everything that one can expect from it and more to ensure an unforgettable stay, with its dreamy view, purity of lines, quietness, brightness and homeyness. All of this at a very affordable price! It would perfectly suit a couple wanting to discover the city from a little nest above the rooftops of Paris, but still in the deep heart of the town, or also a consultant who has to work for a couple of months here. My Partner and I had a truly great Vacation in Paris this March, this was helped in a big way by staying in this great Apartment, it was so convienant to so many of Paris's attractions being right by the Seine, close to the Metro and Restaurants. This Apartment is a six floor walk-up, and may not be suitable to anyone phyiscally challenged. I want to thank the staff at Parisaddress,for all there help with the booking process, and being there to meet us on arrival. We will be back as soon as possible. This apartment was great and really added to our perfect stay in Paris. Very spacious, modern and sunny, the only downside were all the steps, but at least it gave us a workout. Staff was very helpful, but the taxi service they use was a ripoff.Read this comment on Typepad

My wife and I spent 8 days in this apartment for our honeymoon in April this year. The apartment is fanstastic with a kitchen, washing machine, sunny exposure, great heating when needed and a great location right next to the river. It is also steps away from Ille St Louis and Marais. We were met at the time specified and were more than happy with the service. Don't hesitate to book this apartment if want a great spot. Our first visit to France began with a wonderful week in Paris staying in this beautiful apartment. Our taxi driver Jean-Paul met us at the airport and insisted on carrying our suitcases up the 6 flights of stairs. The Marais is full of terrific resturants, shops and don't forget the market on the other side of St Gervais church on Saturday and Wednesday. Could there be a more perfect apartment in Paris? Two weeks with this glorious view, high among the chimney pots and cooing pigeons - pure heaven. And climbing the stairs 2-3 times a day laden with cheese & pate, well that was (almost!)a wash. This is a wonderful lively neighborhood in the heart of Paris. Outstanding! The best apartment we have ever rented -- far and away above anything else. The stairs are pretty challenging in the abstract, but have a nice grade and plenty of places to stop for a rest along the way. The cross-building air movement kept us cool even on very hot days, and the kitchen and bathroom were both beautifully clean. We are considering awarding a prize to whoever figures out a way to keep the bathroom skylight open, but other than that, not even the slightest deficiency in this place. I recently spent a wonderfull month in this clean, modern flat in the Marais. It was a perfect little home in Paris with all that I needed to be self sufficient during my stay. I had no need to contact the agency as I did not have a single problem. On my arrival I was able to book in early and efficiently allowing me to freshen up after my long flight from Australia and take off again to see the flower and bird market on Ille de la Cite only minutes away by foot as are many of the famous Paris landmarks. This was my first trip to Paris and I think we may have had the best apartment in the city! What amazing views from every window! The location of the apartment was fabulous. I felt very glamorous walking past Notre Dame every morning on the way to the metro/RER. All of the amenities in the apartment worked fabulously. The bed was comfortable and there was never a problem with having enough hot water. The staff at ParisAddress were amazing. I have already begun recommending them to anyone considering a trip to Paris and know that I will use them for my next trip (which I hope will be soon!)Read this comment on Typepad

It was the first time I rent a apartment and I loved the experience. The apartment is very confortable, the view is amazing and the location is perfect. The staff of Parisadress was very helpful and I really recomend this apartment and the service of Parisadress. I stayed in this flat for a week - my first time in Paris and let me just say, I did not want to leave! From the taxi service to the staff to the apartment, booking through ParisAddress was a wonderful experience. The 110 stairs up (yes, we counted them!) were daunting at the end of the day, but knowing that this wonderful flat awaited us made it easy. The views were wonderful, the location enviable. Very convenient to both RER and metro lines and right on the Seine. All appliances worked perfectly, the bathroom was small but there was always plenty of hot water. We spent a delightful 6 days in this apartment in early April, this year. It was everything I expected and more. Certainly the steps are a little daunting, but the views, comfort and space of the apartment were totally worth it....loved eating cheese, olives and bargette with a glass of red in the late afternoon with the sun streaming in and terrific Parisian views to look out at! The location is central to everything and close to Notre Dame metro.....we were beautifully looked after by the taxi driver who deposited us to our apartment and the Paris Address staff who met us with the key and showed us all the amentities of the apartment. I just spent 2 weeks in this apartment. Amazingly - at one point I had the laundry machine and the dishwasher both running and was able to take a shower - plenty of hot water! It's clean, very conveniently set up, and has the perfect location. I didn't even see the far south view of the Pantheon until the last day when a friend pointed it out - this is in adition to Notre Dame, St. Gervais and Hotel de Ville. Perfect! Perfect location and almost a perfect appartment. The 6 stairs are worth the climb when you arrive upstairs with the view at the Seine, Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville and St. Gervais St. Protais plus at the other site Montparnasse. I call it almost perfect because the shower is really little for a dutch like me. I am tall and really not fat but it was difficult to move/turn myself in the cabine. We highlgy recommend this appart. We've enjoyed almost all other (6) apparts we've rented, but this one is really our number 1.Read this comment on Typepad

Just completed my second 2-week stay here. Loved it just as much as the first time. Two issues - needing a laundry drying rack and a second key - were dealt with quickly. I am getting quite good with the stairs - have been told that there may be an elevator next year!Read this comment on Typepad

Our stay in Paris was a different experience by staying in an apartment - made us feel more like Parisians. The appartment had everything we needed - we were met by a lovely young man who helped with our luggage and explained how to use all the appliances and suggested a few places of interest. The views from the appartment are amazing. The location was great - close to anything we needed, a great starting point to explore. Even though we ended up booking at the very last minute--only days before we were going to stay at LOPHI1, ParisAddress and the apartment were great. Loved the apartment, Eric was very friendly and helpful when we met at the apartment, and although I was very nervous to hand over our credit card number online and internationally, ParisAddress was completely professional and there were no problems whatsoever. LOPHI1 is just the right size for a couple, lots of Parisian charm--exposed beams and views over rooftop to Notre Dame and even more fabulous the little cathedral next door (but with all the modern conveniences, new appliances, comfy bed) and the location is perfect. Yes, there are 84 steps up the staircase. The spiral staircase. Keeps one honest in the vin and pate department! Would highly recommend ParisAddress.Read this comment on Typepad

We stayed in the apartment begging of November 2011. It was an excellent choice in terms of both location and facilities. The apartment was exactly as it looked in the photos, clean, had whatever we needed for our stay, perfectly located and the views were amazing.
