Rent this apartment in Paris that is exceptionally well located in the 1st district. Two steps away from the Louvre Museum and Tuilleries Gardens, very close to the Madeleine and the Place Concorde, shopping lovers will dream about this location, with all the trendy and luxury shops that surround this place, especially at the place Vendôme. Within walking distance, you will be pleased to discover the Pompidou Centre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Saint Louis and the Cite Islands, Opera and many other fabulous places. Very close to Châtelet, the closest subway stops to this Paris apartment are Madeleine, Opera and Pyramides. All amenities are within a short walking distance: restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, dry cleaners, bank and pharmacy. By night or by day, you can take many lovely strolls here, as the neighbourhood is very safe.
Standing
Good standing building from 17th century with a beautiful facade. This apartment is on the third floor without a lift. The access to the Paris apartment is secured by two digicodes.
Layout
Enjoy the lovely high ceilings characteristic of Paris apartments by renting this flat of 55 m2. Art lovers will appreciate the beautiful paintings and a collection of colorful butterflies. There is a very nice lounge with fireplace, a table to accommodate 4 guests and a sofabed for 2 extra people. The bedroom, looking onto a courtyard, is quiet and has a double bed (160 * 200). The bathroom has a tub with a real shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. In conclusion, this is a very nice Paris apartment rental located in the heart of the capital, close to the Louvre and the Opera district at a quite fair price. This apartment is charming in an "authentic" way. The address is wonderful, one block off Place Vendome but a very different block with sushi restaurants and other small businesses. The apartment is reached through a classic courtyard door, however the courtyard is occupied by the rear of a restaurant and full of its trash bins and aromas. The apartment itself is just as pictured with lovely windows looking out on a bank across the street and slightly uneven authentic herringbone hardwood floors. The kitchen is excellently appointed with everything you would need to cook even relatively sophisticated things. The advertised internet connection, however, was so spotty it was useless. Although there was some controversy over payment in travelers' checks (they are not available denominated in euros at US banks) this apparently resolved itself and we had no further contact with Parisaddress. All in all we found this a lovely place to stay at a great price and found Parisaddress honest and accommodating.Read this comment on Typepad
