Location

This Paris rental apartment is ideally located two steps away from the Luxembourg Garden. This central location is really privileged and from here you will have the opportunity to go everywhere by foot : Luxembourg Garden, St Michel, The Pantheon, The Latin Quarter, Montparnasse…in short all the must see places to see while in Paris. You will also be able to relax on the lawn of the park next door (the continuity of Luxembourg Garden). Should you be with a child, a couple or alone, you will truly appreciate the serenity of this area while staying so close to the bubbling heart of Paris in your vacation rental.

Standing

The Paris apartment is located on the 4th floor of a building with a lift. Note that the lift is very small : it is suitable for one person, or two slim people.
The access is secured by two doors : one with a door code and a second gate with an intercom.
The windows are double glazed. The living-room and one of the bedrooms overlook St Michel Boulevard. The other bedroom looks on a courtyard on the back side of the building.
The Paris apartment has a central A/C system.

Layout

This charming 65sqm (699 sq ft) apartment to rent in Paris has two separate bedrooms.
It has been entirely renovated just recently (June 2011). Everything has been chosen with care and much taste.
You will first arrive in a large entrance hall leading to all the rooms. The main room has a living area with a sofabed that can sleep two people (140x200) and a dining area with a dining table where six people can sit. Note that you can transform the dining table into a console if you don't need it.
The first bedroom of this apartment in Paris is next to the main room. It features a large single bed (120x200). You can work in that room as there is a desk, and you will be able to store your clothes in the large closet.
The second bedroom is in front of the first one. It is smaller but still comfortable. It features a large closet and two single beds. One of the single beds is a 90x200. The other is under it. You will have to pull it and lift it up (the system is very easy to use). The mattress is a bit smaller (80x200). You can use theses beds as two single beds, should you need separate beds, or you can also put them together to form a large double bed (170x200). There will be a difference of 4-5 cm between the two beds.
This room is very quiet. It has been made to be used by a musician who needed to rehearse in the apartment. It is therefore extremely well soundproofed.

The bathroom is small but functional. It features a walk-in shower. It might be a bit difficult to access the walk-in shower if you are a bit stout as it is not very spacious. The toilet is in a separate room, next to the Paris apartment  entrance door.

The kitchen is between the second bedroom and the toilets. It is well equipped and features a table for two.

This 2-bedroom short term apartment rental in Paris can sleep up to five guests. It is lovely, very bright and comfortable. Its A/C system will help you to survive the summer 2011, which is expected to be scorching hot!

As stated in the standing section, the lift is small. It is perfect for one person at a time, or two slim people.
