Location

The Paris apartment available to rent is located in the heart of Saint Germain, 100m away from the famous shop "Bon Marche", with many cinemas, restaurants and bars around. In a neighborhood known for its entertainment and nightlife, all within a safe and pleasant area. Closest subway stations are Vaneau, Rennes and Saint Placide. All major tourist attractions are within walking distance of this Paris apartment. Absolutely marvelous location in the City of Lights!

Standing

This apartment is located on the 4th floor of a building with lift. The access is very secured as there is a door code, a second gate with an intercom and the lift itself has a code.

Layout

This lovely 52sqm apartment has been organized like a loft. It has been entirely renovated by an architect on oct 2011 so everything is brand new and nothing but good quality has been installed.
The main room has been divided in two areas : the living area, with its very high ceiling, features a comfortable sofabed (one sleep only 120x200), a coffee table and armchairs. It has a lovely chimney working with ethanol, therefore extremely easy to use and very safe. From the living area you will access a small balcony.
Then you will find the dining area with a dining table that can accommodate four guests. You will find storage space under the stairs, perfect to store your luggage.
The stairs will lead you to the bedroom area. It features a double bed (140x200), a desk and storage space.
The fitted kitchen is open on the main room.
The bathroom is accessible from the entrance hall. It is contemporary, just as the rest of the apartment and it features a walk-in shower and the toilets. You will also find the washer-dryer in this room.

To conclude this apartment can sleep up to three guests. It is very charming, comfortable and bright. The metallic girder, the colors, the glass wall with metallic frame give this apartment an industrial touch extremely elegant.

We stayed 22 nights March/April 12. The agent arrived at the appointed time and checked us in all worked well. The location was perfect close to 4 Metro stations, many close by Bus routes and easy walk to Seine and lots of other locations. The apartment was very modern with all facilities for self catering. All manner of shops close by, including Bon Marche Food Hall. Apartment is on 4th floor and double glazed so there were no noise problems, even though it is a busy street. It was not a problem for us but it is a split level apartment, with stairs up to the bedroom.

We stayed in the apartment for 13 nights in May 2012. Loved the modern furnishings and look of the apartment and especially its brightness. Very comfortable for 1 couple; kitchen well equipped. Some of the best food, cheese, chocolate shops in Paris nearby. A few Metro stations to choose from. Easy, well organized check in and check out.

We stayed for the month of August. The apartment was as advertised, and it was clean and in good order. The location was great for using the metro, and there were plenty of shops nearby for self catering. It is also only a few blocks away from one of the street markets that ran 3 days a week. We have stayed in nine different apartments in Paris, and this is our favorite. In fact we have booked it second time. We stayed 11 nights in late December/early January of this year. Regarding the stairs, mentioned in a prior comment: Beware, the bottom of the stairs can be dangerous especially in the middle of the night. We both almost fell, the angle is a bit odd on the bottom three steps. Even after we became aware of it, still we almost fell. But that is a relatively minor problem. The entire apartment was excellent. And dealing with the Paris address staff also was very good. We had some initial problems with Wi-Fi and the TV, they came right away to fix it. Note, if you use the ethanol fireplace, you may need to go to the hardware store directly across the street and get a new container or two. We were reimbursed for this cost by Paris address. I have stayed with a friend in this flat for 10 days and we loved it. The location is great, everything you need is very near including the famous Bon Marché. The flat is exactly as the pictures show and it is very agreable to stay in it.It certainly made our stay in Paris still better.I intend to stay again in this flat whenever I go to Paris. Eliane

We stayed at the Midiloft apartment for two weeks in April 2013. It was perfect for the three of us (our adult daughter was very comfortable on the sofa bed). As noted in the other comments, the apartment was lovely and perfectly located. All of the logistics for our stay -- taxis to and fro, meeting the agent, etc. were flawlessly organized by Parisaddress. Our agent, Arnaud Loisin, was knowledgeable, informative, welcoming, and very charming. We couldn't have been happier with the apartment and our dealings with Parisadress, and will definitely plan to stay at Midiloft on all future visits.
