We came all the way from China to stay in this property. The whole experience was great from the welcome by the company representative to our departure. No surprises, the appartment was just as described being very clean, spacious, and warmly decorated. Area a good location for access to La Porte de Versailles and several good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Very satisfied all round and will use Paris Address again.Read this comment on Typepad

Dear M. Fouquerand I have to comment that our arrival to the apartment was well organized and our stay was pleasant. However, I must say that our departure was not so good. Our prearranged taxi did not arrive, and I had to call Litsa to arrange for another taxi. Litsa was very helpful, but the taxi driver took us to the wrong terminal, and then we had to pay him an additional 17 EU above the pre-arranged price of 50EU. He was very angry and rude, and I feel that it is unfair that we had to pay him additional money for this mistake. It is not a lot of money, but it did cause extra stress when trying to arrive on time to an airport to catch a plane. But as I said, we did enjoy our stay in your beautiful city, and the apartment was nice and in a very quiet and convenient location. I would recommend your services to family and friends, and hope to visit Paris again in the near future. Best regards, Tamiko CouplandRead this comment on Typepad

I stayed in this apartment for 11nights in July. It turned-out to be a perfect place with so muany conveniences around the neighborhood. The "La Motte-Piquet" metro stop was just steps away, there was an extraordinary nice "Monoprix",several cafes, Zara, H&M and various shopping in the vicinity. The week-ends brought a large food and misc. market within walking distance. The apartment was perfect for a couple or a couple with one or two small children. Wireless internet and local telephone service was provided. The only regret that I have is that the apartment did not have air conditioning.Read this comment on Typepad

We were very happy with the apartment. The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower (especially at night). The apartment was spacious compared to the hotels in Paris. It is one block to the Metro and very close to the grocery store. We will definately use Paris address again.Read this comment on Typepad

Read this comment on Typepad

We recently rented GEAR4 from Paris Address for a month and had a wonderful experience with both the apartment and the company. The apartment was spacious for two of us, airy, with wonderful full-length windows that let in lots of light, afforded great views and, with the kitchen door opened, really allowed for great air circulation. However, as is the case with every apartment in Paris, I would not want to chance coming here in the summer with no air conditioning. The kitchen was tiny, but fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. You should be aware that the oven is a small electric, plug-in appliance. While we were expecting a regular oven, it was really not a problem for us. The apartment had high ceilings with beautiful crown mouldings showing the grandeur of turn of the century buildings. The bedroom was large, and the bed was comfortable with a very nice duvet. There was plenty of room for unpacking, even for a month. If you are looking for new furniture or carpet, this might not be the place for you, but everything was serviceable and very clean and the apartment truly had charm. We loved it!! The location could not have been any better. We were a few blocks from the subway, three different patisseries, several restaurants, brasseries and cafes, ATMs, bike rentals, clothes cleaners, a major grocery store and a fabulous open-air market that appeared twice a week. We really felt like we were in a neighborhood rather than a tourist area, but every night we could watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle right in our living room window! We would heartily recommend GEAR4 and would return to it if we returned to Paris in the future. Paris Address was a wonderful company to deal with from beginning to end. They answered all of our emails promptly while we were in the decision-making stages. They arranged for our transportation to and from the airport with a wonderful service. Fabien was our main contact, and he gave us the introduction to the apartment when we arrived, suggestions for great restaurants nearby and was available for questions or problems during our stay. We had one major problem with a backed up shower drain, and someone was sent to fix it the same day…which happened to be a national holiday. The highest endorsement we can think of is that we will be pleased to recommend them to our friends and without question, we will use them again if we return to Paris.Read this comment on Typepad

We rented the apartment at 4 Rue de General de Larminat, Paris (Ref: GEAR4) for six days at the beginning of July 2008. We were very happy with the services provided by ParisAddress - the booking went smoothly, they responded to my emails quickly and efficiently, and our greeter was already in the apartment when we arrived. The location of the apartment is very good. It is near the Eiffel Tower, on a quiet street, between the 7th and 15th 'arrondissement', a safe and prestigious area of Paris. It is also near three supermarkets (Franprix, Monoprix, and Ed's) and a number of shops, cafes, and other amenities. The nearest underground station (Motte Picquet Grenelle) is just a couple of blocks away, but most times we would simply walk to the centre of Paris and take in the sights along the (long) way. With direct view of the Eiffel Tower, the apartment itself is both charming and feels homely. It has a double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the living room. The kitchen is rather small but is still usable. The bathroom is split between two enclosed areas: one with the shower and basin, and the other with the toilet. This we found a bit awkward. On the whole, we really enjoyed our stay in Paris and would warmly recommend both this apartment and the services of ParisAddress.Read this comment on Typepad

The apartment on Rue General de Larminat was very comfortable, clean, and had a marvelous view of the Eiffel Tower. In fact, the photos do not do the place justice as there are a total of five tall French windows opening onto small balconies in various directions that give the apartment an added feeling of space and elegance. The furnishings are comfortable and homey, although a bit 'marred & scarred', the carpets spotted here and there, as one might find in a family home - and the kitchen is definitely a squeeze. (We augmented basic supplies by leaving good olive oil, balsamic vinegar, flour, tea, coffee, etc., having found no herbs, spices, condiments - nothing more than salt & pepper - and did find cooking a bit limited but not major problem as we ate out so often!) Although we experienced some trouble with the heating and plumbing, these were for the most part rectified by helpful and courteous ParisAddress staff - and the owner's son appeared one day bearing flowers to thank us for our patience. We appreciated his sweet gesture, which reinforced our feeling that we were staying in an old and loved family retreat rather than a flashy hotel or mere money-making rental. Thanks to the Motte-Picquet station around the corner (with three metro lines crossing through) and the fact you can easily walk up the Champs de Mars to the Eiffel Tower and Seine bridges, GEAR4 is conveniently located for transiting Paris. We spent a lovely Christmas & New Year's holiday there and it was thrilling to watch the Eiffel Tower explode in color outside our windows as 2010 ushered in.Read this comment on Typepad

My wife, two daughters and I had three wonderful nights at GEAR 4, and I would echo the sentiment of other blogs. comfortably appointed, the feeling of somebody's home coupled with great location. Immediate shop and restaurants were good, local parking free at the weekend or reasonably priced and accessible through the week and the Eiffel Tower to take in from the lounge window. Have already recommended it to friends and would stay there again Adrian GreenwoodRead this comment on Typepad

Renting GEAR4 was so much better an experience than any hotel could have ever been. The apartment was in excellent shape and immaculate. The location put us in easy reach of everything in Paris and Parisaddress coordinated everything wonderfully. My wife and I travel the world extensively but this was our first experience with a rental. It was the best 4 weeks of our lives!Read this comment on Typepad

We stayed in the apartment October 11, to OCt 16th. Although, the arrival of our flight was delayed 2 hours more than we told Paris Address, we happily met by staff several hours later. The review of basic apartment functions was easy and was completed quickly. We were then given our keys and we were amazed by the view of the Eiffel Tower. It was a surprise as there is no picture of the living room view on the website or under the description of the apartment. The view at night even surpassed the view during the day. There were many shops, cafe's and other businesses in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. On select days there is even an open air market underneath the elevated train around the corner. The ability to get on and off the Metro was invaluable. The stop literally puts you within a minute walking distance from the apartment. We have told many people about our location in Paris and have offered to help them visit the apartment. My wife accidentilly left her IPOD when we left and we were surprised to find out it had been found and would be sent to us via mail. Thank you for you help. And thank you for a wonderful place to stay in Paris.Read this comment on Typepad

I stayed in the apartment with my family (wife and six-year-old daughter) for three weeks in July 2011. It is a nice comfortable apartment in a great location, and you can never forget what city you are in with a view of the top third of the Eiffel Tower from the living room window! We would gladly stay there again in the future!Read this comment on Typepad
